Why Money Feels Empty (and Your Key to Changing That)
Something I hear a lot is: it’s not about the money for me.
And I get it. It’s not about the money for me either. In fact, I don’t have specific income goals for my business. They feel completely empty to me. There’s no drive for me to achieve them. I am not extrinsically motivated by money.
This has created a huge push pull for me as I am continually nudged by the Universe to take my work to a broader audience. How can I do that when “making money” isn’t a particular goal of mine?
- Money is simply the doorway.
The doorway to a life of purpose, freedom, significant reach, luxury, comfort, joy in new experiences, connection, and generosity. Now that’s rich motivation for me.
- Every door needs a key. Money isn’t discriminating. You can open the door with any key you want.
Power. Ambition. Sheer will. Force. Pain. Suffering. Comparison. Keeping up with the Jones’.
- The key you choose changes the experience of what is on the other side of your money doorway.
Ultimately, it is the key you choose that determines your experience of the money – whether money fuels a sense of emptiness or endless possibility.
The key I choose is: Consciousness.
I choose to open my money door through Soul by creating a personal and specific relationship with the Soul of Money.
This key creates the experience of endless possibilities — all of which connect directly to my own value and values because I have created it with the input of my own Soul.
Take a moment and consider: What key am I choosing? How does that key impact my experience of money? My life experiences?
