Timing, Magic, and Abundance

If you could have any kind of abundance, what would it be? What would it look like? What would it do for your life?

Chances are, as you answer this question, it is something big and very different than what you have now, right?

A certain number in the bank account. A big change in job status. A business that brings in a certain amount. A day filled with more expansiveness and freedom.

What’s the path to this desire unfolding in real life?

Acknowledging the magic as it is happening. Right now.

We spend way more time focusing (and discussing and ruminating) on the human drama situations than the divine magic situations that happen for and to us on a regular basis.

Let me give you two of my recent magic moments:

1. I want to have someone create an illustration of the Abundance Identity – something that will create some tangibility to a rather esoteric concept. I didn’t want to use any of the people I have found on Fiverr, they just didn’t seem right for the job. Then I remembered that when I was in a course last year, they recommended another design portal/service…but I couldn’t think of it. And the resource was listed on the member site for the course, but I didn’t have time to go digging for login information.

   Not five minutes later, an email pops into my inbox from the person running the course sharing a very late addition AND how to login to get it. I was able to get logged in and find my design resource. Easy Peasy! I love the magic.

2. My husband and I received our new car 3 months earlier than they estimated (magic #1). But that meant we had 3 cars for our smallish two car garage + the winter tires for the old car. I will admit to nagging my husband a bit to sell the winter tires and figure out what to do with the old car (too old to trade in or to put up for sale); but he knows his mind and his timing..

   When the moment was right (for him), Douglas put the tires up for sale. Within a couple hours he had someone ready to buy. When the buyer came to get the tires, he asked why we were selling. Upon learning that we were getting rid of the old car, he offered to buy it. Even knowing the age (17 years), mileage (325,000) and the longish list of what needed to be fixed. Easy Peasy! More magic (once I got out the way of the timing of everything).

   When we get locked into the human drama, we build momentum that keeps us locked into place. We don’t make progress towards those bigger wants and desires. They stay at arms length. Not because we are bad, not worthy, not enough, or wrong, but because we don’t make energetic room for them to blossom.

When we focus on, acknowledge, talk about, ruminate on, celebrate, and just generally pay attention to the magic moments (those moments that we KNOW we are part of Universal energy), we build momentum that bit by bit lays the fertile ground for these bigger wants and desires to blossom and bloom.

It’s a daily practice. Doesn’t have to be hard. Just needs to be present.
