Are you a visitor in your own abundance?
Money flow is a bit like tides. Sometimes there is a big flow. Othertimes there is a lighter, lower flow. That is simply the essence of money.
However, there is a difference between normal money flow and being in a feast-or-famine cycle. How often do you find yourself able to create what you want, only to experience months of having the exact opposite?
Getting out of that feast-or-famine flow is what I’ve been addressing in my YouTube series, Abundance that Stays. This week’s episode is all about the 3rd pillar and starts with the foundational question: Are you a visitor inside of your abundance, or does every particle of your being know you belong there?
The key to belonging inside abundance is your Receiving Identity.
Receiving Identity is the internal narrative you hold about who you are in relationship to goodness. You can think of it like a thermostat. No matter how high the temperature rises, the thermostat is programmed to bring the room back to a set point.
Receiving Identity works the same way. It is your set point of belonging inside goodness.
This internal structure holds your expectations about wealth and abundance. Do you believe you belong inside wealth? Do you believe you belong inside steady love or consistent support or visibility? Or, do you believe you’re just visiting and are waiting (and expecting) to get kicked out?
Why does that expectation matter?
Let’s talk science for a moment. Your brain is constantly scanning for coherence between your external and internal identity.
Why? Your brain’s job is to keep you safe and alive. That’s it. If your internal and external realities are different, then there is an inconsistency, and inconsistency is unsafe to your brain.
When something feels inconsistent with who you believe you are, your system will work to resolve the tension. Your system will either expand your identity or collapse your results. Unless you consciously shift belonging, the easier route is usually to reduce the results.
That’s when you see income that rises and then settles back, maybe even lower than before. Love that deepens and then destabilizes. Support that appears and then gets pushed away.
Energetically, you only stay open to what feels like home.
If wealth feels foreign, you’ll subtly shut down to the flow of universal resources. If steady love feels unfamiliar, you’ll question it. If visibility feels larger than your sense of self, you’ll shrink.
Receiving Identity determines what you normalize and stay open to allowing.
Abundance that Stays isn’t built by forcing yourself to believe you deserve more through endless affirmations or vision boards. Consistent abundance is built by gently expanding the range of goodness that feels natural.
It’s becoming someone who feels at home inside more.
Come and learn more about this in Episode 3 of Abundance that Stays. You can find it here (and catch earlier episodes in the playlist; subscribe to the channel to be notified of episodes 4 and 5). I have a lot more to say in the episode, including how belonging is different than arrogance or entitlement.
If you recognize yourself as being a visitor to abundance rather than belonging, if you are tired of feast or famine, if you are ready for steady wealth, then this is the work. Creating the internal structures that will allow you to finally receive what you want.
The Receiving Architecture Immersion is where we build that structure.
If you are ready to stop visiting abundance and start living inside it, explore the Receiving Architecture Immersion.
I look forward to supporting you in your abundance.
